Missing goat detained at Forest Park High, later returned to owner | News

During the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 4, Lake City Police Officer Alex Hamlin wasn’t writing tickets or arresting criminals but wrangling a goat. Hamlin was able to detain the goat with little resistance and was able to safely contain the goat within the Forest Park High School’s baseball field until Clayton County Animal Control arrived. The incident ended on a positive note as the goat was returned to its owner.
