DECATUR, GA — A body found Sunday at Misty Waters Drive was identified as a 7-year-old girl, and her mother was charged in connection with her death, DeKalb County Police said Friday.
Police said the body was found around 9 p.m. in the 2800 block of Misty Waters and belonged to Alivia Hobbs-Jordan.
Alondra Hobbs, Hobbs-Jordan’s mother, was charged on suspicion of felony murder and second-degree cruelty to children, police said.
