The Athens-Clarke County Center for Hard to Recycle Materials will be closed at 1 p.m. today due to excessive heat.
Waste Reduction Administrator Joe Dunlap said the heat has made working conditions unsafe for CHaRM workers.
More early closings are likely to happen in the coming days with high temperatures expected to continue according to Dunlap.
Updates for weather-related closures are available at accgov.com/charm.
