Applications now being accepted for Taste of Douglasville | Douglasville Sentinel

The annual festival in downtown Douglasville will take place on Saturday, May 18.

For over thirty years, the CAC has celebrated the coming of summer with the Taste of Douglasville festival and this year is no different.

On Saturday, May 18, the CAC is transforming the new Douglasville Town Green Space, and filling it with the delectable tastes of local eateries, the sights of talented artists, and the sounds of live music filling the streets.

Food trucks, restaurants, artists, local businesses, and organizations are all encouraged to apply. Accepted vendors will not only be a part of the Art Center’s largest fundraiser but also the community’s largest one-day festival. Restaurants are sought as well as local businesses/organizations with a focus on kids, arts & crafts vendors, and all businesses that aid in providing better living. Last year, Taste of Douglasville featured over 150 booths.

“This festival is a great marketing opportunity for all local organizations,” said Emily Lightner, Executive Director of the CAC. “Restaurants have reported strong follow-up foot traffic from participating at Taste of Douglasville.”

Guest admission to the action-packed festival is free so vendors should expect large crowds excited to try a Taste of what Douglasville has to offer.
