Clayton County Board of Education Extends Supplement To All Employees | News

JONESBORO — Following Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp’s announcement in December of a $1,000 retention supplement to all teachers and school support staff, the Clayton County Board of Education unanimously approved a measure that will provide all active full-time employees and selected others with a $1,000 payment.

The Jan. 8 School Board vote also gives short-term substitutes and other part-time employees a supplement of $500.
