Commissioner Tarenia Carthan to host county business event | Douglasville Sentinel

Vice-Chair Carthan expressed her enthusiasm for the event stating, “The annual Doing Business in Douglas County was started under the leadership of former Commissioner Kelly Robinson. I am honored to pick up the mantle because of the importance and impact this event has on small businesses and the community,” said Vice-Chair Carthan.

Attendees can expect to gain valuable information regarding key elements of the procurement process including supplier selection, bidding procedures, and effective management of supplier relationships. Stacey J. Key, President and CEO of The Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council (GMSDC) will also offer remarks as a featured speaker.
