On the afternoon of Oct. 25, Spanish Club and Art Club students at Douglas County High School stayed after school to learn about the symbolism of Día de los Muertos with artist Ray Gonzalez.
Gonzalez is an award-winning papier-mâché artist and sculptor, sent by Guanajuato, Mexico, and accompanied by Mexican Consulate Liaison Veronica Toscano de Leger to share his craft.
