There are some shiny new faces and places in downtown Newnan — particularly on Greenville Street between Spring Street and West Broad.
The first place that got my attention was SURE Bride at 4 Greenville Street. Not that I’m looking to get married again, with our 50thwedding anniversary coming up in December, but there are many young folks looking for that perfect wedding experience in Coweta County, and SURE Bride is one sure place to check out for the most glamorous gowns and accessories.
In fact, according to their manager Meredith (Mikie) Bullock, they are doing so well in their current location that they will be moving soon to the much larger space on the corner that was once home to Deals for Dollars. The grand opening is expected in the next few weeks, so keep an eye on their FB page for more information.
The PINK FLAMINGO KIDS children’s clothing and toy store will be moving into SURE Bride’s current space at 4 Greenville Street. Watch here for the opening date.
Across the road, at 5 Greenville Street, sits SISTERS THREE BOUTIQUE. This eclectic shop is filled with unusual but useful finds, including a wide variety of purses, appare, and gifts suitable for just about anyone. They are one of the only places you can get “permanent jewelry,” made of your choice of fine metal chains and welded together, so you never have to remove it. (Although you can if you choose to.)
The owner is Angela Neilsen, who also owns BOLD SOUL BOUTIQUE at 9 Greenville Street, another fantastic eclectic shop that graced Greenville Street for about three years. Be sure and sample their high-quality olive oils and vinegar blends while you shop for locally made jams, jellies, and merchandise in general.
