The gaming and entertainment venue Painted Pickle is getting closer to opening, with an eye on opening in December.
The concept was announced last year. It will be located in an industrial indoor/outdoor warehouse at 279 Ottley Drive at Armour Yards (known as āThe Armour Ottley Loopā) in between Buckhead and Midtown.
Painted Pickle will offer an expansive front and rear patio directly adjacent to the new Northeast segment of the Atlanta BeltLine, which just last month landed a $25 million grant to bring it to completion.

The 32,500-square-foot space will house anĀ indoor pickleball courtyard with eight individually contained courts with permanent nets, a cottage clubhouse, an elevated central seating area overlooking center court and one signature outdoor court.Ā
Ivan Vizcaya will be the athletic director. Vizcaya is a former member of the University of Georgia tennis team and a certified PPR pickleball instructor.
In addition to the pickleball programming, Painted Pickle will have a stage forĀ live music and other competitive pub games and social amenities ā all complimentary ā including an indoor putting green and gaming lawn, ping pong, bucketball, subsoccer tables, cornhole, table shuffleboard, darts, strategy and board games, beach and lawn games and other competitive gaming options.
The menu will include small plates, salads, bowls, sushi, charcuterie boards and paninis.Ā Beverages will include signature and classic cocktails, local and craft beer and artisanal wines by the glass and bottle.
