The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County (CAC) has a new look at the Pop Up Arts Shop featuring Francine Stowe-Sinkler. Each month the CAC features a new artist who creates hand-crafted and high-quality goods. Meet Francine Stowe-Sinkler also known as “Finesse of Fabric”, a textile artist who specializes in handmade jewelry and beautiful canvas creations. See all of Francine’s work at the CAC’s Pop Up Arts Shop, located at 8652 Campbellton Street.
Francine combines sewing techniques with the formal medium of painting and printmaking. Instead of painting with a brush, Francine creates her art with collages of fabric. She explores mixed media to create works of art that are intimate and enduring. Francine’s balance of personal inspiration, and technical skill results in high-quality hand-made items. Whether it be a stylish wallet or a luxurious necklace, Francine’s art is sure to impress!
