ATLANTA — District 1 Council member Jason Winston will be hosting a diaper distribution event on Saturday, November 18 from 10 a.m. to noon at The Villages at Carver Family YMCA, 1600 Pryor Road SW. More than 5,000 diapers and baby supplies will be given to the public while supplies last.

“As a parent, I know firsthand the financial strain that comes with buying household necessities like diapers. This is an issue facing families throughout our city,” Winston said. “To address this challenge, I’m working with local partners to host a diaper drive to provide support to those in need. This effort was made possible because of the generous donations of our community and District 1 businesses. I’m grateful for all their support in helping to make this happen.”
Winston is partnering with Helping Mamas, a nonprofit dedicated to helping those families most in need, and The Villages at Carver Family YMCA for the distribution event.
