Even as Billing Rates Soared, Atlanta Law Firms See Slowdown in Revenue Growth

Atlanta-based law firms, through the first nine months of 2023, trailed the industry in growth in demand, revenue and net income to partners, according to a bank survey.

However, Atlanta law firms have boosted billing rates in the first nine months by an average of nearly 10%, higher than the industry average, and these firms have seen smaller expense increases, according to the nine-month survey results from Wells Fargo Legal Specialty Group.
