ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Someone in Georgia is waking up $50,000 richer Thursday morning.
A Powerball ticket sold in the Peach State matched four white balls and the red Powerball in Wednesday night’s drawing, according to the Georgia Lottery.
The winning numbers for Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024, are 16, 26, 29, 38, 50 and the Powerball is 6. No one won the top prize of $412 million, so Saturday’s jackpot has climbed to $443 million.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Lottery tickets are sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
