WHAT: Celebrate the season with memories that won’t be discarded with the holiday wrapping. Now entering its fourth week, IllumiNights at the Zoo presented by Georgia Power is a mile-long stroll of nighttime inspirations in the form of more than 200 all-new lanterns showcasing the flora and fauna of the legendary landscapes, undersea realms, mythical skies, and bounteous botanicals that share our planet and our imaginations. Each lantern is artisan-made and hand-painted, resulting in stunning individual works of art. Festive add-ons such as magically lit rides on the Endangered Species Carousel, warm beverages, marshmallow roasting, and the exclusive Elf Power Inc. virtual reality experience combine for a holiday must-do for all ages.
Open nightly on select evenings through January 14, IllumiNights is made possible with support from Beacon Sponsor SouthState Bank, with additional support from Kaiser Permanente. Due to limited capacity, advance ticket purchases are encouraged. Tickets are available now at zooatlanta.org/illuminights.
