GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Four people, including a juvenile, were killed in two unrelated Sunday crashes that also injured at least three others in Gwinnett County, police said.
– The first crash happened just before 4 p.m. at Peachtree Corners Circle and Elmside Village Lane in Peachtree Corners, Gwinnett County Police said. Officers responded to an auto accident person trapped call.
Specific details regarding how the crash happened were not released; however, police said Gwinnett County Fire pronounced three people dead at the scene.

Additionally, three people were taken to local hospitals, with one of them in critical condition. It is unknown if the other two people were injured in the crash.
Those who died in the crash were not identified, pending next-of-kin notification.

– Then, after 4 p.m., police responded to a person hit by vehicle call in the Mall of Georgia parking lot in Buford. The cause of this crash is unknown.
Police said an unidentified juvenile was taken to Children’s Hospital of Atlanta – Egleston, where they were pronounced dead.
Two other people were taken to Northside Hospital Lawrenceville with non-threatening injuries, police said. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with officers, police said.
Gwinnett County Police’s Accident Investigation Unit is overseeing the probe into both crashes.
