Cumming man killed in motorcycle crash | Public Safety

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed a 23-year-old Cumming man on Bethelview Road Feb. 15.

The Forsyth County 911 Center reported receiving calls about a crash at the intersection of Bethelview Road and Old Towne Lane around 2:40 p.m. Feb. 15.

Initial investigation determined the motorcycle was southbound on Bethelview approaching the intersection of Old Towne Lane and Aaron Sosebee Road, when it was struck by a Genesis SUV northbound on Aaron Sosebee approaching the intersection.

Witnesses said the SUV failed to yield at the stop sign and struck the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The fatality crash remains under investigation.
