Man reports accounts opened under his name | Public Safety

ALPHARETTA, Ga. — An Alpharetta man reported Feb. 21 someone opened more than 20 fraudulent accounts in his name.

The victim said he pulled his credit report and found accounts that he had not opened. He said he filed a report with the Federal Trade Commission, which suggested he also report the fraud to Alpharetta Police. 

He told officers the fraudulent accounts were loans, but he had no further information on each one. The man said he had been a victim of identity fraud multiple times before, the report states. 

No suspects have been identified.
