Repeat offender cited in fifth noise complaint | Public Safety

by Fulton Watch News Feed

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — Police cited a Johns Creek man Feb. 24 after he received a fifth noise complaint in under two weeks on Runic Way.

A neighbor told police the man had loud power tools running after the allowed time of 5 p.m. on Saturdays.

As police approached the man’s residence, they were able to clearly hear what sounded like a generator coming from behind the house, the incident report says. Police also noted the noise could be heard from the street.

The homeowner met with police who said the generator was being used to power appliances inside his house and that he did not stay there permanently.

Police cited the man for a noise ordinance violation and explained the hour guidelines for when he was allowed to use power tools.
