Foundry’s CIO has named the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) a 2024 CIO 100 award winner. For more than 25 years, the CIO 100 Awards have recognized innovative organizations around the world that exemplify the highest level of strategic and operational excellence in Information Technology (IT).
“We are thrilled that TCSG has been honored with the CIO 100 Award for our initiative ‘Modernizing the Student Experience’. This award is a testament to the innovative spirit and dedication of our entire IT team,” said TCSG Commissioner, Greg Dozier. “I want to extend my congratulations to our IT professionals for their exceptional work and for setting a high standard in the educational technology sector. This achievement not only highlights our commitment to excellence, but also our dedication to supporting our students across the 22 colleges.”
TCSG was named a 2024 CIO 100 award winner for ‘Modernizing the Student Experience,’ which reverses declining enrollment trends by focusing on four interconnected strategies:

- Expanding access to in-demand courses through the eCampus online platform
- Implementing micro-credentialing systemwide to provide students an avenue for quick entry into the workforce
By leveraging technology, this project removed barriers to enrollment, enhanced student supports, and streamlined access to workforce development opportunities to grow the talent pipeline for Georgia.
