MILTON, Ga. — A Tennessee man reported to police Oct. 16 that his tool bag and nearly $4,000 in tools had been taken from his truck.
While working in the state for a utilities company, he told police he stays with his parents on Edinburgh Court. He said he last saw the bag days before when he parked his truck there, according to the police report.
He told police the $700 bag is a “lineman tool bag,” and that it contained a climbing belt, a leather cord, boot spikes, gloves and an assortment of tools totaling $3,960 in value.
Police opted not to dust for prints because the man had used the truck during the time the bag could have gone missing.
