Spearheaded by Michaela Merz and a small team of dedicated volunteers, this group has made significant strides in providing care to the homeless and executing search and rescue missions across the state.

Founded on the principles of compassion and community service, Pecos Valley Public Services has, for two years, been at the forefront of addressing some of the most pressing needs within the state. With a lean team of 11 volunteers, they have established a ‘jump team’—a rapid response unit ready to deploy within an hour, 24/7, for emergencies. This initiative has proven invaluable, particularly in assisting the homeless during severe weather conditions and enhancing statewide search and rescue operations.
