With a lean team of 11 volunteers, they have established a ‘jump team’—a rapid response unit ready to deploy within an hour, 24/7, for emergencies. This initiative has proven invaluable, particularly in assisting the homeless during severe weather conditions and enhancing statewide search and rescue operations.
