A revised version of the city’s noise ordinance will advance to a public hearing at a future Roswell City Council meeting, perhaps as early as March.
The proposed revision to Chapter 16 of the city’s Code of Ordinances, which addresses various nuisances, would “control the level of excessive sound as noise in a manner that promotes the use, value and enjoyment of property, conduct of business, sleep and repose and an environment free from unnecessary and excessive sound,” the draft presented to the councilors states.
