A High Wind Warning was issued Monday by the National Weather Service in Albuquerque for portions of southeast New Mexico.
The warning, which will be in place today from 8 a.m. until 11 p.m., forecasts western winds of 30 to 40 miles per hour with gusts of up to 65 miles per hour for Chaves County Plains, along with Curry, De Baca and Roosevelt counties.
