ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – Authorities have charged a man they believe killed someone on December 20, 2023.
Oscar Antonio Vargas has been charged with second-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm after Larry Turner, 38, was killed in Roswell.
Roswell police think Vargas and Turner argued before Turner tried to drive away. He was killed in the area of East Eyman Street and H Street.
Currently, Vargas is in jail in El Paso.
