Roswell restarting its recycling program

by Fulton Watch News Feed

ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Roswell has restarted its recycling program after it closed down in 2021. The program is free for residents who have been asking the city to bring it back. Cardboard, grade one and two plastic bottles, aluminum cans, and tin cans can be dropped off at the Roswell Municipal Landfill. All plastic needs to be cleaned out and recyclables need to be separated from trash loads.

Target is also partnering with the city. They will take used batteries (size AAA-D), cell phones, and ink cartridges. The city said they hope to expand the program to take more recyclable materials in the future.
