A section of South Roswell was impacted by power outages Thursday, briefly causing homes, businesses, schools and other entities to lose electricity.
Wes Reeves, senior media relations representative for Xcel Energy, said the outage began at 10:54 a.m. when Xcel Energy’s protective services detected a fault on a transmission line that supplies two substations in south Roswell. Power then tripped off.
