Police have arrested a suspect in a Sunday shooting in south Roswell that left one man dead.
Martin Soltero III, 20, of Roswell, has been charged with one count each of first-degree murder and tampering with evidence, and two counts of receipt, transportation and possession of a firearm or destructive device by a felon, in a shooting that claimed the life of 53-year-old Freddie Allen, according to a criminal complaint filed Monday in Chaves County Magistrate Court.
