DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. (WAFF) – A man was convicted on multiple charges Thursday in connection to a three-vehicle crash that occurred in 2020.

On April 10, 2020, William Keith Seay was driving northbound in a Chevy Silverado along Alabama Highway 75 when he veered into the wrong lane, sideswiping a vehicle before hitting another head-on. The crash resulted in the deaths of Robin Anderson and Hannah Moon.

Officials later found that Seay was under the influence of several controlled substances at the time of the crash.

Seay was found guilty of two counts of manslaughter, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

“This has been a long, hard ordeal for the families of Robin Anderson and Hannah Moon,” said DeKalb County district attorney Summer McWhorter Summerford. “I hope that having this court case resolved with guilty verdicts helps bring some healing and closure for the families.”

He will appear in court on April 3 for sentencing.
