New Cox Hall Market scheduled to open fall 2025

Major dining upgrades are on the way for Emory’s Atlanta campus, as Cox Hall Food Court is set for renovations beginning May 14, 2024.

The Cox Hall Food Court currently serves campus as a high-volume, high-traffic space, providing meals for students, faculty and staff.

Scheduled to reopen as Cox Hall Market in fall 2025, the project will expand indoor and outdoor seating choices, create a more spacious dining atmosphere and optimize line queuing and customer flow.

Located outside of Cox Hall near Cox Bridge, Asbury Circle and the Emory Student Center (ESC), the food trucks and mobile vendors will offer a variety of new cuisines as well as Cox Hall favorites.

Dooley Dollars, Eagle Dollars and credit/debit cards will be accepted at the mobile food options. Emory Dining will continue to provide its standard of vegan, vegetarian, Kosher, Halal and gluten-free foods.

“Our plan is to be flexible to the needs of our campus community, increasing food options during peak days,” Sunstein says. “We have also been scaling up services in our other campus locations to support the student body during renovations.”
