Cleo Ollie Ray, 99, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024.

She was born in Calhoun, Georgia on March 5, 1924, the daughter of the late Hugh O. Leonard and Annie Rhoda Cagle Leonard. Mrs. Ray was a proud alumni of Berry College in Rome, Georgia. She had a servants heart and spent many years working as a nurse’s aide at the Villa Rica Hospital. She was a member of the Bright Star Methodist Church for over thirty years. Mrs. Ray loved her church and found great comfort in her membership. She was a member of the senior group, Hilltoppers that included members from several surrounding churches. Her time spent volunteering with the school, PTA and cafeteria was most enjoyable while her children were in school. Mrs. Ray was also an avid gardener and a phenomenal cook.
