Council to support $1.5 million federal funding | Douglasville Sentinel

Douglasville City Council members are scheduled Thursday to consider a letter supporting Goodwill of North Georgia’s request for $1.5 million in federal funding for expansion of its local career center.

In a letter to U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock, Douglasville Mayor Rochelle Robinson says the expansion would bring greater access to critical workforce development programs for residents in the city and surrounding areas.
