“Forever and Always” is a new picture book by Brittany J. Thurman and illustrated by Shamar Knight-Justice. The story follows a day in the life of a little girl named Olivia and addresses the anxiety that many children face when waiting for a loved one to return home. 

On Thursday’s edition of “City Lights,” illustrator Knight-Justice sits down with Lois Reitzes to discuss this newest book and his job as an elementary school principal in Southwest Atlanta.
