The Douglas Carroll Paulding Counties Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated annual MLK Day of Impact at New Manchester High School in Douglassville. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated’s MLK Impact Day serves as an influential platform that pays tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s dream while sparking profound change within the community. Boasting a rich history of academic excellence, community service, and empowerment, this event provided all attendees an inspiring and educational experience.
The event was enriched by the presence of representatives from colleges, support groups, the military, community resources, an art and writing contest and members of the Divine 9, who conducted insightful workshops and seminars for students and parents. Workshops included a wide range of topics including Mental Health, Scholarships, College Survival , Self Defense, Grow with Google, Financial Aid, and Personal Finance.
