Newnan turns out for 35th annual MLK parade | Arts & Community

This year’s theme was “The Change Starts With Us, Through Unity, Love, Respect, Education and Charity”

The parade included several floats, dance numbers performed by area fraternities and sororities, praise dancers, and musicians from the Newnan High School, East Coweta High School and Northgate High School marching bands.

The event is put on each year by the sisters of Chapter 483, Order of the Eastern Star.

Proceeds from the parade benefit the organization’s scholarship fund.
