Two men burglarize Douglasville Post Office | Douglasville Sentinel

According to Douglasville Police Department reports, patrol officers responded to a call about a suspicious noise at the Post Office.

When officers arrived, they noticed a force entry into a secure area and two males fleeing on foot while carrying several items, according to the DPD report.

A K-9 officer was called in and the Crawford and Penny were tracked to a wooded area adjacent to the post office, the report stated.

The suspects were located hiding in a nearby creek.

According to an arrest warrant, the suspects had stolen mail addressed to three or more different mailboxes or addresses, and had a minimum of 10 separate pieces of stolen male.

Both were denied bond during their first appearance bond hearing.
