Woman denied bond in parking lot shooting | Douglasville Sentinel

Douglasville Police say the two were involved in a relationship.

DPD said Holland shot Forts three times striking him in the face, right elbow, and upper left thigh.

The 32-year-old Forts was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in downtown Atlanta following the 12:09 p.m. shooting in the parking lot on Douglas Boulevard.

She has been charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery.

According to one of the warrants, Holland shot Forts in the face resulting in several teeth dislodging from his mouth.

He was shot in the left upper thigh making him temporary lose mobility, according to the warrant.

Holland left the scene in what was described as a white Mercedes-Benz after the shooting.

She was arrested around noon Monday and made her first court bond appearance Tuesday morning.

DPD said the shooting wasn’t a random act of violence.

Security is expected to be tight when a carnival opens Thursday in the mall’s parking lot that faces Douglas Boulevard.

The annual carnival will run through March 24.
