Remaining schedule: at Rutgers, Michigan, at Minnesota, Nebraska, at Ohio State, at Indiana, Penn State
The Spartans lost three-straight games, play under an interim coach and still haven’t found enough offense to strike fear in any of their remaining opponents in the Big Ten. Maybe an extra week to prepare for Saturday’s matchup at Rutgers will help, but Michigan State’s 2023 season certainly has a chance to tank given what’s left (three games against current unbeaten top 10 teams). The 50-50 games against Rutgers, Minnesota, Nebraska and Indiana are ones the Spartans must get to play in the postseason.
