Jackson mayor among those asking for stricter gun control | News

On Sept. 1, Jackson Mayor Carlos Duffey joined 42 other mayors from around the state to send a letter asking Gov. Brian Kemp and the members of the Georgia General Assembly to take action to lessen gun violence in Georgia.

During the Tuesday, Sept. 19 meeting of the Jackson City Council, Jackson resident Teresa Hampton asked Duffey if by signing the letter he supports “taking away the Second Amendment.”
