The Dawgs247 crew give their final thoughts on Georgia’s 51-13 victory over Kentucky and look ahead to the Bulldogs’ Week 7 game at Vanderbilt. Over the weekend, Georgia covered the spread for the first time this season, taking down Kentucky at home 51-13. Now the Dawgs will hit the road once again for the fourth conference opponent of the season as they had to Nashville to face Vanderbilt. Kickoff is set for Noon ET with ESPN set to televise the game.Â
The Week 7 line opened with Georgia as 31-point road favorites over Vanderbilt per DraftKings, FanDuel, and Caesar’s. Georgia is given a 97.6 percent chance of winning the game by ESPN’s FPI. Georgia has a strong 60-20-2 lead in the all-time series against Vanderbilt, having won the last five outings over the Commodores. Last year Georgia jumped on Vanderbilt early and kept its foot down with four touchdowns in five drives on its way to a 55-0 victory. The win featured a return to form for the Bulldogs, which leaned on a balanced offensive attack to build a sizable lead Saturday that the Commodores simply never threatened.
