Stockbridge officials have approved an updated site plan to allow a second apartments complex within Bridges at Jodeco. The mixed use development is located off I-75 exit 222.
The second complex, being developed by Thompson Thrift, will have 219 units. This joins the 306 units within Argento at the Bridges.
Bridges at Jodeco Apartments
The Sterling Group gained approval in 2021 to build Bridges’ first apartments complex. Argento at the Bridges has recently opened. Now, in November 2023, a second complex will join them. The second complex will be located to the south of Argento. Altogether, the two complexes will have 525 units. This remains under the 615 units first approved in 2015–16.
In addition to the above apartments, the project will have 135 townhomes. One-hundred such units are under construction now. Senior apartments are also planned.
Bridges at Jodeco will be Thompson Thrift’s second entry into the Georgia market. Earlier in November, they announced an apartment complex starting construction soon in Union City. Georgia represents the company’s 22nd state.
Stockbridge officials approved the updated site plan at their November 13 meeting. Planning staff recommended approval of the change.
