In support of their latest album, Heart is the Hero, released this past April, The Wood Brothers have announced their headlining tour slated to take the nation by storm this fall. The tour includes a total of 16 dates across the Northeastern and Southeastern regions of the country, and will kick off on Oct. 18 at the People’s Bank Theatre in Marietta, Ohio.
In continuation of their jaunt, the band will continue making stops across throughout the month with shows scheduled to take place in Kentucky, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Vermont, New York and Massachusetts. After a month break, the band will move down to the Southeast for the second leg of the tour.Â
The latter half will begin in Fort Lauderdale at Culture Room on Nov. 30 and continuing on with noteworthy stops at Tipitina’s in New Orleans and a performance at the Georgia Theatre in Athens, Ga. The final performance will be at Charleston Music Hall in Charleston, S.C., on Dec. 8.Â
In addition to fall dates, the band has previously announced their summer touring plans with festival appearances around the country, including Green River Festival on June 24, Mariposa Folk Festival July 7-9 and Calgary Folk Music Festival on July 29 and 30. Additionally, they have several dates in the West and Midwest, with gigs in Colorado, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon and more throughout the summer months.Â
All October dates will be supported by Maya Devitry, with additional appearances from ZZ Ward, Ida Mae, Turnpike Troubadours and more on selected dates.
