The initiative is one of 19 projects selected through a competitive national review process for its potential to significantly impact the entrepreneurial landscape, a press release from Clayton State read.

Principal Investigator Stacey Reynolds and Co-Principal Investigators Mario Norman, Leon Prieto and Melva Robertson will guide the program.

“The initiative seeks to mold students into future leaders and leaders,” the CSU press release stated. “By providing mentorship, resources and support, the program is uniquely positioned to help students transform their innovative ideas into successful, socially beneficial businesses.”

The program aims to integrate students with educators and local investors that encourage sustainable business solutions.

“We are immensely grateful for the support from VentureWell, which enables to enhance our commitment to student entrepreneurship and innovation,” Reynolds said. “This grant no only supports the development of new ventures but also aligns with our mission to foster a sustainable and inclusive entrepreneurial culture.”
