Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens addressed his plans for the upcoming year in his annual State of the City Address at Woodruff Arts Center Monday.
The mayor spoke for about 40 minutes about his plans to make the ATL safer, increase affordable housing, tackle the issue of homelessness, and improving public transportation.
In fact, Mayor Dickens announced that four new MARTA stations including one large development project along the Beltline will be developed. One of the stations will be at Murphy Crossing along the Beltline’s westside trail. The other 3 stations will be infill stations between existing stops, but the specific locations have yet to be announced.
