Myra Nell Watson | Times Georgian

She was a seamstress for Golden City Hosiery Mill.

She enjoyed traveling and recently went to visit the Ark in Kentucky. Myra Nell was a housewife who loved her family and was a great cook. She appreciated watching a good game from both the Falcons and Braves. Myra Nell delighted in listening to Gospel Singing and found joy in watching church services on the television.

She was a lifelong member of Concord Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roger Claude Watson, brothers, Osara White and Buell White, brother and sister-in-law, James and Lilly White.

Myra Nell is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Ginger Watson, daughter and son-in-law, Gary and Brenda Watson, 2 sisters-in-law, Katherine White of Dallas and Shirley White of Temple, 4 grandchildren, Shane and Mandy Watson of Taylorsville, Drew and Shannon Pounds of Temple, Dan and Anna Perry of Bremen and Josh and Megan Franklin of Jefferson, great grandchildren, Mason and Adrea Watson, Andrew Watson, Chandler Pounds, Taylor and Jenny Smith, Shelby Smith, Vance Smith and Piper Perry, Harley Quinn Perry, Charlie Kate Franklin and Myles Franklin, great great grandchildren, Reed and Rowan Smith also survive.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 4 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Ikey Watson and Rev. Don Rackley officiating. The eulogy will be given by Anna Perry. Interment will follow in Concord Cemetery. The following gentleman will serve as…
