Charter school eyes Coweta for new location | News

Liberty Classical Schools is looking at Coweta and Fayette Counties as potential locations for a new charter school.

According to Matthew Kirby, president and CEO of Liberty Classical Schools, the school would open in August 2025 or August 2026 at the earliest. A site for the school still needs to be determined, he said, and charter schools need to be approved by local school boards or by the State Charter School Commission of Georgia.
