Clayton County Students Learn To Make The ‘Perfect Pitch’ | News

The seventh annual competition was held March 27 at the CCPS Performing Arts Center in Jonesboro.

Sponsored by Clayton County Public Schools’ Department of English Language Arts — and supported by Primerica, Inc., the Clayton County Public Schools Foundation, Inc. and others — competitors were required to provide a brief explanation of how they can benefit a potential employer or college by persuasively explaining their unique traits, experiences, skills and accomplishments.

Upon completion of their “perfect pitch” judges offered critiques in areas such as attire, the availability of professional materials such as resumés, cover letters, and business cards, body language, oratorical skills and overall presentation.
