Robert ‘Bob’ Milton Burns Jr. | Times Georgian

The funeral service celebrating Bob’s life is Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, in Newnan. The burial service will follow at Cross Plains Christian Church Cemetery, 1356 Cross Plains Rd., in Carrollton. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Along with his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Syble Thompson Burns, sister, Judy Burns Duncan, and brother, Donald “Don” Burns. He is survived by his son Bobby Burns and his wife Kristine, daughters, Angel Hoffman and her husband Chad, Amy Burns and her husband Joel Landers, grandchildren, Leighanthia Thomas (Pat), Mason Winkler, Chloe Winkler, Megan Raymond, Tori Raymond, Layne Hoffman, Josie Landers and Felix Landers. He is also survived by his siblings, Steve Burns (Penny), Carol Burns, Sylvia Huckeba, David Burns (Mary), and great-grandchildren, Kaylin, Maddy, Paxton, Luna, Carter, Bryson, Cooper, Koa, Sara, Katie, Noah, and Buvena.
