Town Square Playhouse Announces Exciting Summer Programs for Children and Teens

Town Square Playhouse is thrilled to announce its lineup of engaging and creative summer programs for children and teens!

For children ages 4-12, Town Square Playhouse presents three one-week programs in June, where young aspiring performers will have the opportunity to unleash their creativity. Each week-long program runs from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, offering an immersive experience in theatre arts. Participants will create their own show, designing sets, props, and costumes. The week will finish with an exciting showcase for friends and family on Friday. The themes for each week are as follows:

– Week 1 (June 3-7): “Willy Wonka”
– Week 2 (June 10-14): “A Year With Frog And Toad”
– Week 3 (June 17-21): “Mulan Puppetry”

The cost for each week-long program is $350 per child, providing a fantastic opportunity for children to explore their creativity in a fun and supportive environment.

Additionally, Town Square Playhouse is offering a two-week teen drama intensive program starting July 8th, centered around the hilarious and chaotic comedy “The Play That Goes Wrong”. Teens will delve into acting techniques, stagecraft, and ensemble work, culminating in a performance that showcases their newfound skills and talents. The cost for the two-week program is $600 per teen.

Whether they’re exploring the whimsical world of ‘Willy Wonka’ or diving into the comedic chaos of ‘The Play That Goes Wrong’, participants will develop valuable skills, build confidence, and forge lifelong friendships.”
